Dear Scholar,
unfortunately you did not write since when he suffers from hydronephrosis (acute, chronic, congenital) and what the reason is.

(Wikipedia) The obstruction may be either partial or complete and can occur anywhere from the urethral meatus to the calyces of the renal pelvis. The obstruction may arise from either inside or outside the urinary tract or may come from the wall of the urinary tract itself. Intrinsic obstructions (those that occur within the tract) include blood clots, stones, sloughed papilla along with tumours of the kidney, ureter and bladder. Extrinsic obstructions (those that are caused by factors outside of the urinary tract) include pelvic or abdominal tumours or masses, retroperitoneal fibrosis or neurological deficits. Strictures of the ureters (congenital or acquired), neuromuscular dysfunctions or schistosomiasis are other causes which originate from the wall of the urinary tract.Treatment of hydronephrosis focuses upon the removal of the obstruction and drainage of the urine that has accumulated behind the obstruction. Therefore, the specific treatment depends upon where the obstruction lies, and whether it is acute or chronic.Acute obstruction of the upper urinary tract is usually treated by the insertion of a nephrostomy tube. Chronic upper urinary tract obstruction is treated by the insertion of a ureteric stent or a pyeloplasty.Lower urinary tract obstruction (such as that caused by bladder outflow obstruction secondary to prostatic hypertrophy) is usually treated by insertion of a urinary catheter or a suprapubic catheter. - this is the allopathic definititon -

The homeopathic definition of "incurable" diseases is completely different from allopathy. Curability in homeopathic treatment mainly depends on whether there is a totality of symptoms which allows - and is the only indication for - the choice of the homeopathic remedy (and of course the vital force needs to be strong enough to bring about a reaction and cure).
But homeopathic remedies are not prescribed according to the "name" of the disease but for the totality of symptoms of the patient. Two different people suffering from hydronephrosis may need a very different remedy. Third, and I do not hope to offend you, if the boy suffers from hydronephrosis, than he can't be defined as "healthy" in terms of § 9 Organon.

Only the precise allopathic diagnosis together with the homeopathic case anamnesis will allow the homeopathic physician  to decide whether  this disease falls under the scope of homeopathy.

Hydronephrosis can be cured with Homeopathy.Further investigation is required to know the cause.

Homeopathic remedy will help only if the causation is known.

Thanks for prompt detailed information. Actually this boy is

from my tailor's family.  Hence it is not possible to give you

fine details expect what the parents have expressed to me.

The symptoms were noticed in this boy (18 yrs)  since last

nearly one to one and half months.  The intial CT Scan has

not clearly shown the exact cause. It has only confirmed

that hydronephrosis and hydroureter are grossly present

in the right kidney.

The treating physician has prescribed an antibiotic + Spasmo-

Proxyvon (a smooth muscle relaxant) and one other medicine

of which I will get the name.

Is there any remedy which would take care of the blockage

in the ureter.  One thing is sure that the CT Scan does not show

presence of stone or crystules.

Any guidance to help these poor family will go a long way.

Regards

SCHOLAR

Dear Scholar,
as already pointed out only his individual symptom picture will show the indicated remedy. For this a detailed homeopathic anamnesis and more/different informations than those used in allopathy are necessary.
The rubric "kindneys, ailments in general" for example has about 100 remedies and to chose the correct one (remember that we do not prescribe for the name of the disease, i.e. "hydronephrosis") and for a proper case management please look for a professional homeopath to avoid suppression and a further aggravation of the disease state.
As antibiotics and a muscles relaxant were given I would conclude that the case can be treated homeopathically - but it needs proper homeopathic treatment.

The obstruction in the ureter can be due to various causes. It may be due to small stone or some growth. It is necessary to know the exact causation.

I again repeat homeopathy can only help if causation is known. Some herbal preparation can remove the stone and clear the pessage.

consistent obstruction and hydronephrosis will destroy the kidney.Be careful.
